Winter is coming. And while yes, that may be a cheesy reference to everyone's favorite HBO show to nerd out to (Game of Thrones, for those of you who are still slackin'), it is still a verrrry appropriate phrase. We will not be applying it to the need of strategizing our armies, or securing a kingdom, but rather something even more important: the winter wardrobe.
Let's face it, we all go crazy for the winter wardrobe. You can look sleek and chic with a matter of a few key pieces and we dream of chunky sweaters and comfy boots to keep us warm when the weather starts biting. In this winter wear series, we'll go over a few of our favorite trends for these cold months. So without further ado, give a warm welcome to the...
BASIC BEIGE COAT
Polished and timeless, the basic beige coat, whether a trench or a wrap around, is one of our favorite pieces for this winter. It can be dressed up for the office or a party with heels or can be paired with cute pair of booties for a day out shopping, lunching, hanging with friends, or whatever you have written down in your busy B Word planner. It may be a streaker's, Castiel's (Supernatural, anyone?) or gumshoe's fan favorite, but the fashionable B Word knows that this coat is perfect for a pair of dress pants, ripped jeans, or even over a bangin' dress.

One of our homegirls pairs her beige belted coat with ripped jeans and a ribbed white T, plus her favorite strappy heels for an ultra-cool low-key look.
Feeling the urge to find one of these puppies? Never fear, B Word has you covered with some of our favorites on the web, linked below the picture. ;)
